Compare depth, perspective and shadows using the same word. These six fonts create the effect with text characters; they do not produce a 3D model or an animated image.
Use 1–24 printable ASCII characters. Case and spaces are preserved. Samples use each font’s default letter spacing, with no frame.
Comparing: Hello · 80-column target.
Compare dimensions
Rows include font padding. Widths are measured in text columns, not pixels. The target does not resize or crop the banner.
Another isometric construction, with a different perspective. Compare the actual letters in your project name rather than choosing by the font name alone.
The 40, 80 and 100-column targets are character budgets, not guarantees about screen pixels. Start at 80 for a terminal or README, then check the destination on a phone. Isometric fonts often benefit from a shorter title.
Keep the depth intact
Paste the result into a fenced code block or another monospaced area. A proportional font or line wrapping can break the offset lines that create the shadow. Use SVG or PNG from the editor if the destination cannot preserve text alignment.
Use the full editor for finishing
Open a font below to add a frame, adjust FIGlet letter spacing or export your banner. A smaller spacing mode can help, but some letters will still be wide. Compare again after changing the wording.
